5.20.14

Joce Lyn and I were talking about cockroaches and jellyfish being the hardiest living things, that they will still remain on earth long after we’re gone (ala Wall-E). So, we thought those were 2 good words for our Project Doodle Day!

2 days ago was 5.20, another “internet number day” in China that celebrates “I love you” since the pronunciation of 5.20 in Chinese sounds like “我爱你 – wo ai ni” (I love you). This year is especially special since 14 sounds like “一世 – yi shi” (a lifetime). So, 5.20.14 = I love you a lifetime.

Since cockroaches and jellyfish will live almost forever, aren’t they a great couple to represent forever love? Somehow, I beg to differ … what is forever anyway.
